    Chop the chicken into bite-sized pieces and fry in a little oil for 6-7 minutes until golden and cooked right through with no pink inside, then set aside.

    Add the chopped bacon and onion to the pan and cook for 4-5 minutes, then stir in the garlic.

    Crumble in the stock cube, add the pasta and enough water to cover, and simmer for 11-12 minutes until the pasta is tender.

    Return the chicken to the pan, stir through the cream and grated cheese, and warm for 2 minutes until the sauce is silky.
  5. 5
    Season with pepper and serve.
