    Brown the pork mince in a large pan for 6-8 minutes until cooked through with no pink remaining, breaking up any lumps.

    Add the finely sliced fennel and chopped onion and cook for 4-5 minutes until softened, then stir in the garlic.

    Pour in the chopped tomatoes, tomato puree and crumbled stock cube, then add the pasta and enough water to just cover.

    Simmer for 12-14 minutes, stirring now and then, until the pasta is tender and the sauce has thickened.

    Season to taste and serve.
