1Put the chicken breasts between two sheets of cling film and bash gently until an even thickness, then season.

2Set up three bowls: flour, the beaten eggs, and the breadcrumbs mixed with paprika, crushed garlic, salt and pepper.

3Coat each chicken breast in flour, then egg, then press firmly into the breadcrumbs.

4Preheat the air fryer to 190C, lay the chicken in a single layer and spray lightly with oil.

5Cook for 15 minutes, turning halfway, until golden and the chicken is cooked right through with no pink meat. Serve with chips or salad.
