    Peel the potatoes and cut into chips about 1cm thick. Soak in cold water for 5 minutes, then drain and pat thoroughly dry.

    Crush the garlic and toss the chips in the cooking oil with the garlic, paprika, salt and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. 3
    Preheat the air fryer to 180C. Add the chips in as even a layer as you can.
  4. 4
    Cook at 180C for 22-25 minutes, shaking the basket every 8 minutes, until golden and crisp.
  5. 5
    Tip out, season with a little more salt and serve straight away.
