The recipe

    Cut the halloumi into thick fingers and pat dry. Tip the flour onto one plate, beat the egg in a bowl, and mix the breadcrumbs with the paprika on a second plate.

    Coat each halloumi finger in flour, then egg, then press into the breadcrumbs.

    Lightly brush or spray the coated fries with the cooking oil.
  4. 4
    Preheat the air fryer to 200C. Arrange the fries in a single layer, not touching.
  5. 5
    Cook at 200C for 8-10 minutes, turning halfway, until golden and crisp. Serve hot with a dip.
