    Prick each sausage once or twice with a fork to stop them bursting. Cut the onion and red pepper into thick chunks.
  2. 2
    Toss the onion and pepper with the cooking oil, salt and pepper.
  3. 3
    Preheat the air fryer to 180C. Add the sausages in a single layer and scatter the vegetables around them.
  4. 4
    Cook at 180C for 16-18 minutes, turning the sausages and shaking the veg halfway, until browned all over.
  5. 5
    Check the sausages are cooked through with no pink meat and the juices run clear before serving.
