1Cook the rice according to the packet, drain and set aside.

2Fry the chopped onion and garlic in a little oil for 4 minutes, then stir in the drained black beans, chopped tomatoes, cumin and paprika and simmer for 5 minutes.

3Mix the rice through the bean mixture and season well.

4Slice the tops off the peppers and remove the seeds, then pack the filling into each one and top with grated cheese.

5Preheat the air fryer to 180C and cook the peppers for 20 minutes until soft and the cheese is melted and golden. Serve hot.
