    Slice the mushrooms and finely chop the garlic.

    Melt the butter in a frying pan over a medium-high heat and fry the mushrooms for 5-6 minutes until golden and any liquid has cooked off.

    Stir in the garlic and cook for 1 minute, then add the cream, salt and pepper and bubble for another minute.

    Meanwhile toast the bread.
  5. 5
    Pile the creamy mushrooms onto the toast, scatter with chopped parsley and serve.
