1Fry the sausages in a little of the oil over a medium heat for 12-15 minutes, turning often, until browned all over and cooked through with no pink in the middle.

2Push the sausages to one side, add the rest of the oil and fry the eggs to your liking, basting the tops so the whites set firm.

3Spread the bread with butter.

4Slice the sausages in half lengthways and lay on two slices of bread with a fried egg on each.

5Add a squeeze of ketchup, top with the remaining bread and serve hot.
