    Toss the diced pork in the flour, then brown all over in a little oil for 4-5 minutes.

    Tip the pork into the slow cooker with the sliced onion, carrots and chopped apples.
  3. 3
    Add the cider, crumbled stock cubes, thyme and mustard, then stir well.

    Cover and cook on low for 7 hours, until the pork is tender and cooked right through.

    Season to taste and serve with mash or crusty bread.
