The recipe

Instructions

    Drain the chickpeas well. Blitz with the onion, garlic, parsley, cumin and a good pinch of salt until coarse — not a smooth paste.

    Stir in the flour, then shape into small patties with damp hands.
  3. 3
    Brush with the oil and air fry at 190C for 13-15 minutes, turning halfway, until golden and crisp.
  4. 4
    Serve in warm pittas with salad and a drizzle of yoghurt or hummus.
