1Mix mince with grated onion, half the garlic crushed, half the chopped herbs, half the spices and salt. Form into 16 small balls.

2Brown the meatballs in oil in a wide pan 4 minutes. Set aside.

3In the same pan, soften remaining garlic, add tomatoes, stock and remaining spices. Simmer 8 minutes.

4Return meatballs, simmer 8 minutes more.

5Make 4 wells, crack eggs in. Cover, cook 5 minutes until whites set. Top with herbs.
