    Heat oil in a wide pan. Soften chopped onions 6 minutes.

    Add chopped peppers and grated carrots, cook 5 minutes.

    Stir in garlic, curry powder, paprika, chopped chilli for 1 minute.

    Add tomatoes and beans. Simmer 10 minutes until thick.

    Taste, adjust seasoning. Serve hot or cold with bread, rice or grilled meat.
