The recipe

Instructions

    Cook the rice halfway — 8 minutes — drain. Soften chopped onion in butter 6 minutes. Cool.

    Mix pork with rice, onion, garlic, herbs, salt, pepper.
  3. 3
    Core the cabbage. Boil whole 5 minutes, peel off leaves carefully. Trim the thick rib.

    Place a heaped spoon of filling on each leaf, fold sides in, roll tight. Pack into a deep dish.

    Mix tomatoes, stock, tomato puree, sugar. Pour over rolls. Cover, bake at 170°C for 80 minutes.
