    Brown the mince in oil for 5 minutes, drain off fat.

    Add chopped onion and peppers, cook 8 minutes. Add garlic and spices for 1 minute.
  3. 3
    Stir in tomato puree, then tomatoes, drained beans, stock and sugar.
  4. 4
    Simmer uncovered for 30 minutes until thick and rich.
  5. 5
    Taste, adjust salt and chilli. Serve with rice, sour cream and grated cheese.
